The workshop NFT Technology in the World of Art was enhanced by two remarkable events held in June 2024. The first event was a panel discussion at the Museum of Contemporary Art, which focused on the phenomenon of crypto art. Before the discussion, the audience had the opportunity to watch a video showcasing NFTs created by artists participating in the workshop.
The panel was moderated by art historian Ljudmila Djukic, and featured key speakers including artist Daniel Glid, art consultant Natasa Parezanovic, and Kika Nikolela, the curator at Objkt.com, who participated in the session online. All panelists discussed their involvement in crypto art and shared their visions for its future development.
The second event, titled Museums in the Web3 Ecosystem, was held at the National Museum of Serbia. Ivana Ehrensvärd opened the gathering with an introduction to Web3 tailored for museum professionals.
The session featured presentations by Diane Drubay, the founder of Wearemuseums.com and WAC Lab, as well as Elisabeth Mühlbacher, the CEO of Frameit.art, who participated online. They shared their experiences in museum work and showcased examples of inspiring exhibitions.
Ivan Manojlovic, the international cooperation manager at Nova Iskra, moderated the discussion and engaged with the audience throughout the event. It concluded with a presentation by Ilija Rilakovic, a Web3 attorney, who discussed the legal frameworks guiding museum operations within the Web3 ecosystem in Serbia.
